The USDA Forest Service is hosting unmanned aircraft system (UAS) training for 20 national forest resource managers from across the Eastern Region and parts of Alaska at the Whitewater University Innovation Center May 16 – 27. Ideawake has raised another $1 million to expand its innovation-enabling platform into the health care field. The round was led by Madison's HealthX Ventures.

The Poynette School District will continue to have a virtual option for its students during the 2021-22 school year. However, the virtual classes will be through JEDI Virtual School and students will not be taught by district teachers, as they were through the COVID-19 pandemic.
