iButtonLink’s new SeriousSensors™ line of data loggers has returned from a successful mission aboard the International Space Station (ISS). As part of the mission, on October 2, 2020, four new orbital data loggers arrived at the ISS onboard Northrup Grumman CRS-14, which departed from NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility at Wallops Island, Virginia.

Due to COVID-19, VA Medical Centers and other LTC communities had to adapt the process of administrating patient-specific multi-dose medications and wound care to improve safety and infection control. VA medical centers needed a way to keep multi-dose medications, wound care, and other critical items outside of the infectious zone, but still near the patient. Riemer Systems designed the Hallway Compliant Locking Cabinet to suit their needs.

The ISS National Lab is supporting a variety of technology development to enhance International Space Station (ISS) capabilities. ISS crew members began work on a collaborative project with Rhodium Scientific and iButtonLink to validate the Rhodium Science TempLog-20iB, a miniature flight-certified device providing industry-standard temperature monitoring.
